All maintenance is up to date - Antifoul and Anodes June 2024. Fresh coat of paint to non skid surfaces. Rigging and decks were replaced in 2018, updated close cooled Isuzu 55HP shaft driven engine.
This classic blue water cruising vessel has been meticulously maintained by the current owner for 20 years!
Built in 1988 by renowned NZ Designer/Builder, Mike Orchard this vessel is built solid and designed specifically for the Ocean, cruising the Pacific Islands and Australia's East Coast, which has been fulfilled.
This vessel features a spacious centre cockpit; the design has much to recommend it. It is deep enough for added safety; the width is convenient for foot support when heeled and is large enough to accommodate six people. The hard dodger gives solid shelter and is fitted with safety glass; a full fibreglass bimini and roll down clears assists to protect from the elements; generous walk around decks.
The mast was imported from Seldon Sweden it has been anodised for long life and to prevent corrosion and installed with an electric in-mast furler and back up manual furling system if ever needed. This vessel comes with an inventory of sails for all weather.
Step down into the large spacious saloon with 6'3" head room, the interior is beautifully finished with mottled kauri, kauri and mahogany; the upholstery is in red velour.
Port side is a well equipped L shaped Galley with double sink with fresh and salt water; top load freezer and separate fridge (running on 2 separate compressor units), gas stove and oven and plenty of cupboard space. The microwave and bread maker run off either 24v battery system or inverter.
Forward is a large U shaped dinette, which seats 6 comfortable, opposite a long settee doubles as a single berth.
Moving forward, on portside is the head and shower with separate wash area opposite, then walk through to the forward V berth, with the option of either two singles or double berth; the sail storage is located under.
To the aft, starboard side is the nav table, walking through the companion way is another settee that double as single berth then continue through to aft cabin with double berth, large wardrobe and full standing room.
