A couple of weeks of survey lifts, sea trials, settlements and listings!
It’s always humbling when I berth a vessel and a local at Spinnaker Sound Marina assists to grab ropes and says I should have known it was you driving by the way you made that look so easy. And this was John’s first time skippering the vessel and berthing it after a success trip across the bay to Scarborough Marine for a survey lift.
Knowing how to read the wind, how a boat will steer be it power vessel with single engine or twin engines or a sail vessel makes a massive difference when moving, berthing or putting a vessel into the slings for a lift. John has a knack for making manoeuvring vessels look effortless.
Marine Brokerage is not just a job, it is a passion. A day in the life of a dedicated broker is not just about showing boats and sales. To ensure the quality of the vessels, John personally goes through the boat with the owner at time of listing, will insist all maintenance is up to date, advise owner of any findings that need attention or could impact a survey report. Our team will endeavour to make sure the buyer and seller are well informed of the process and requirements of selling and owning a boat.
