Hanse’s renowned self tacking headsail makes short-handed or inexperienced crewing a breeze, the practical cockpit layout with all lines & halyards running aft to cockpit winches allows for ease of operation. For those with a bias towards racing, the additional tracking rails to run jibs/genoas.

Callisto’s sail inventory is extensive, and caters for either fast coastal cruising or competitive club-racing. The original fully battened Mainsail & self-tacking Headsail were complemented with an additional suite of new performance sails in 2015, including a North PX fully battened Mainsail, North PX overlapping Genoa (furling) , North PX battened No.3 Jib (self-tacker), North Asymmetrical Spinnaker, & heavy-weather Stormsail. The original Hanse boom-bag was replaced in 2015, while the cockpit dodger was replaced in 2017, along with the helm covers and new Bimini in 2023.

The internal fit out is in immaculate condition with stunning mahogany joinery and unmarked upholstery. Main saloon features U shaped settee to starboard and an offset dining table with chart table / navigation station to port.

Galley located starboard features ample bench space and storage, Isotherm refrigeration, gas oven and cooktop, twin sinks with pressurized hot/cold water.

Accommodation is a twin cabin layout with two generous double cabins – forward private double V-berth up with ample storage & hatch ventilation and to aft starboard is a double cabin, with ample storage and locker space.

Shower and head are to the port side, aft of the head is a huge garage / locker for all your storage needs (there is also has hatch access to this storage area from the cockpit).

“Callisto” has a deeper keel option, with her 1.85 metre keel giving far superior upwind performance

Navigation is made easy with a Raymarine Hybrid-Touch chart-plotter in 2015, and the helm being complete with auto-pilot.

Powered by 30HP Yanmar installed in 2008. Engine & sail-drive serviced in June 2021.
