Belinda Jane is a classic Timber Bay cruiser, beautifully finished throughout with a spacious internal layout and the added feature of a flybridge and upper deck.
Step on board via the rear cock pit, through the timber doors and into the saloon. An inline galley features a new Thetford 4 burner cooktop, gas oven and grill, sink, bench and cupboard space. Forward is the settee which converts to single berth and dinette converts to ¾ berth. Helm is located forward of dinette. The central steps give access to the spacious master cabin with double berth to starboard side and plenty of cupboard space to port side. The head and shower are forward in the bow.
Access to flybridge is via stainless steel ladder on portside aft. The flybridge has a large sundeck area, upper helm and seating for 4 people.
The duck board and swim ladder give ease of access when at anchor.
Powered by a Vetus 80hp motor, shaft drive with pps seal, this vessel will comfortably cruise at 6 knots.
There is extensive history on this vessel as the previous owners were dedicated to ‘Belinda Jane’ for 25 years, ensuring every detail was tended to.
A little history: Wal Shirt was the foreman of the famous Halvorsen Boat-Building Yard in Sydney until his retirement in 1956. He continued to build a number of boats for selected clients (from our research we believe there to be only 46 Wal Shirt vessels built). He was the last of the very traditional timber boat builders in Australia, a true timber boat craftsman, as he did not use power tools.
